Ability to use technology tools for instruction, student assessment, management, reporting purposes and communication with parents/guardians of students including, but not limited to, spreadsheets, web page development, digital video, the Internet, and email.

I introduce the students to the Glogster presentation program. This is a program that allows students to displays information that they have research in an organized layout. It gives the students various options how to design their Glogster and incorporate their information.
I assessed the students' Glogster using a rubric. The students were graded on use of time, content, cooperation, spelling and grammar, neatness, and required elements. The rubric included a four point scale for each category. If they scored all four's then they made a 100 for the this activity. I also used a checklists as I monitored them while they were working. This included how well they navigated through the Glogster pages and how well they worked with others.
The students met the objectives and were able to complete the assignments successfully. The technology integration was appropriate because the students had minimal issues with navigating through the Glogster after I thoroughly showed and explained to how to use it. After I showed them my sample glogster and how I put it together, the class and I created a Glogster from scratch together. I called on students to explain how to get to the various sections of the Glogster. This made it easier for them when they began working on their own.
